Rotary Systems to Exhibit at the AWEA WINDPOWER Conference and Exhibition

(12/01/2009) MPLS, MN - Rotary Systems of Ramsey, MN will showcase rotary unions at the 2010 WINDPOWER Conference and Exhibition Show in Dallas, TX May 23-26, 2010.  Rotary unions are found in wind turbines which use hydraulic pitch control and distribute hydraulic pressure to the pitch control cylinders in the hub from a stationary hydraulic power unit in the nacelle.  This configuration represents roughly 50% of all turbines in use today.  Rotary Systems supplies OEM’s, service agents and turbine remanufacturers with standard and custom designed or made-to-print rotating unions.

The 2009 AWEA WINDPOWER Conference in Chicago’s McCormick Place was a huge success for Rotary Systems, resulting in opportunities with turbine OEM’s and O&M providers.  AWEA expected 13,000 visitors to the 2009 show, but over 23,000 attended.   Visit the AWEA WINDPOWER Conference and Exhibition website for more information.
